Lamar/La Junta Tour Summary

Paycheck Away Tour -
La Junta

On Wednesday, November 8th, Colorado’s 9to5: National Association of Working Women hosted a Paycheck Away Project town hall meeting for the Tri-County area of Southeastern Colorado.  Over 15 La Junta residents and allies were on hand to learn more about the challenges faced by the working poor in Otero, Bent, and Crowley County. The event, which took place at the La Junta Senior Community Center, chronicled the different types of poverty that exist in the Tri-County region.
